Ashton Priestley from Bamford in Derbyshire

Ashton Priestley was a past English National President.

He won the 1951 International at Blackpool with Pat 4203. And the 1930 English National at Welbeck with Hemp 1006, the 1955 English National at Darlington 1955 with Jim 10071, and the 1960 English National at Knavesmire with Sweep 11115.

He won the International Brace at Ayr in 1930 with Wylie II 1184 and Lad 859, the English National Brace at Ilkley in 1933 with Hemp 1006 and Lad 859, in 1952 with Mac 8133 and Pat 4203.

He was the son of Ernest Priestley from Hathersage who won the English National at Lowther Castle in 1923 and at York in 1922 with Moss 233.
